We are again running an Eat Club course with Family Mosaic. The course this time takes place in the Kingsmead Community Centre in Hackney. It is a great venue with a lovely garden for eating in. However, it isn’t very local for any of the young people who have signed up to the course who need to travel to the centre each week. This makes bringing the group together a bigger challenge than ones we have faced in the past.
We had one great session so far and two one-on-one’s which were equally enjoyable. The course is due to continue throughout the summer holidays and we hope that we will be able to form a group that will complete the course achieving the ‘skills’ part of their DofE award, and enjoying an intensive workshop day with Jamie Oliver’s 15 Apprentice programme.
