Eat Club has now begun a course with a group of young people in Essex. We are providing this course through Family Mosaic and it is our first venture together with them. For the participants the course will count towards the skills part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award.
The young people in Grays have at their disposal more than one fully functional kitchen but rarely make use of anything but the microwaves. Cooking and eating together a three course meal is a treat for all. We hope that by the end of the 12th session they will be motivated to cook their own food from scratch. The proof will be in the pudding as they say as on the last session they will be in charge of menu and execution. Keep checking for more updates!
