Cook Social

Cook Social – is an exciting venture from Eat Club.

We run on the principle that no one should eat alone, whether you’re looking to meet new people or simply to sharpen your knife skills in good company, our doors are open. All you need is a healthy contempt for a microwave meal-for-one.

Our communal cook and feast happen once or twice a month and any profit goes towards supporting the Charity’s youth work.

The Cook Social Supper Club always comes with the buzz of new conversation and communal cooking. It’s informal and relaxed; a space where you can chop, chat and learn along the way. After a welcome drink, you’ll feel the bustle of a prep kitchen before unwinding for a three-course meal.

APRIL EVENT

Our next event is on the 20th of April at the Brixton Windmill in South London.

Come join us in April for our zero-waste supper club. Focusing on conscious cooking through a sustainability lens we’ll be looking at how we can minimise our impact as consumers, while still enjoying the best of seasonal and fresh local produce. You’ll learn how we can turn unwanted scraps into scrumptious treats, and how to bring out the best in overlooked ingredients.

Super fun and well organised Interesting group of people to cook with – I went on my own and felt totally relaxed with the friendly hosts and other guests. Informative and you get to cook everything from scratch which is important to me. Would go again.

Got tickets for this as a present for my husband and we both had such a great night, the food was delicious, run by a lovely team and the evening had a really nice atmosphere! Will definitely be looking out for more of these in future!

I loved my first Eat Club experience, because I learnt some great cooking tips, got motivated to cook again, and got to know some like-minded individuals in the process. The planning was clear and I felt that my tasks at hand were communicated well. I was also impressed by the shared leadership of the evening, and how the organisers were enthusiastic to adapt their guiding methods to my or my co-attendants’ ways. The overall dynamic made for a pleasurable and sociable experience, and with the wine and drinks a total jolly. I’m looking forward to the next opportunity to come along!
