As we close out an incredible year, we’re excited to reflect on Eat Club’s 2024—a year filled with growth, connection, and celebration.

By the Eat Club Team

As we kick off the new year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on our 2024 highlights. From celebrating 10 years of Eat Club to cooking with hundreds of young people and families across London, it’s been an incredible year.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make this possible—here’s to an even brighter 2025!

Our 2024 in Numbers
  • Cooked in 11 London boroughs
  • Ran 453 cooking sessions
  • Cooked with over 500 young people and 85 adults
  • Served 7740 meals to young people and community members
  • Celebrated 10 years of Eat Club!

We created a video to showcase our impact, as told through interviews with our partners!

A Decade of Impact

This year marked a major milestone—our 10th anniversary! In August, we gathered for a celebration to reflect on how far we’ve come. What began in 2014 as an idea to teach young people how to cook has flourished into a thriving charity empowering young people across London.

A Growing Team

From a single vision to a fully-fledged organisation, our team now includes:

  • 16 chefs delivering sessions across the city
  • 9 young leaders shaping our future
  • 3 head office staff keeping things running smoothly

Together, we deliver up to 15 weekly sessions across 11 boroughs, building skills, confidence, and community through cooking.

New Partnerships

This year, we partnered with The King’s Trust to run Cooking and Hospitality Courses, offering young people work experience at local institutions like Dusty Knuckle and Caravan Kings Cross. These partnerships bring new opportunities for growth and inspire the next generation of culinary talent.

Expanding Our Reach

In 2024, our impact extended further than ever. With support from Hackney Council, we introduced Adult and Family Courses. These sessions welcomed participants of all ages—from a 2-week-old baby to a 99-year-old community member!

Empowering Young Leaders

Our Young Leaders Programme took off this year, offering young people leadership and advocacy opportunities. They help us shape Eat Club’s future and ensuring we continue to meet the needs of the youth we serve.

The Return of Cook Social

We hosted supper clubs, team-building activities, and corporate volunteering programmes, all in true ‘Eat Club style’—hands-on cooking followed by sharing a hearty, healthy feast.
