Emily Cline - Session Leader - London
Emily grew up on a diet of fish fingers and spaghetti’s and was very adverse to all "green stuff". Being inspired by a Sainsbury's ad featuring Jamie Oliver at age 6 she found the desire to learn to cook and fell in love with food. After training as a chef she became a bit fed up with how elitist and patriarchal the kitchen could be. She the decided to pursue teaching in order to foster a love of cooking in young people and improve the UK's food culture and has now worked as a food teacher for the last 2 years.

Becky Odoi - Young Leader - Eat Club - London
As an avid sports enthusiast I like to spend my time being active; whether that be doing athletics, playing volleyball or even going for a walk. I joined Eat Club so I could share my knowledge about the food system from my previous work but join members in a social setting to create an environment where we can learn about nutrition and health in a fun, creative way.

Lottie Young Leader
Hi my name is Lottie and I’m a recent Criminology with International Study graduate from the University of Manchester. I have always been a foodie and enjoy cooking and baking at home for my family, but my interest in the physical and mental impact of diet and nutrition developed during my degree when I looked at the experiences of people in prison in the UK. Now, I’m trying to incorporate this interest into my career.

Zaid Young Leader
Having recently moved to London from Pakistan, I've been shaped by vibrant flavours that sparked my passion for food and its power to bring people together. As a dental student, I'm increasingly interested in how food impacts broth oral and overall health. Joining Eat Club's Young Leaders Programme is a chance for me to connect with a diverse group of people, learn more about the food system, and explore ways to encourage healthier eating - all while sharing unique cuisines in a fun, engaging setting.

Yahkiyah Young Leader
Growing up vegan, food has always been at the heart of my life. My first introduction to the culinary world was in the kitchen with my mother, where we’d get creative, crafting healthy, delicious plant-based versions of classic dishes. Since then, I’ve been captivated by the beauty and science of food, and my dream is to share this joy with others. Cooking is a fundamental life skill, and I believe everyone should have the chance to experience the magic of creating nourishing, flavourful meals, which is why I joined Eat Club.

Aisha - Young Leader - Eat Club - London
I'm interested in becoming a Young Leader because I'm passionate about creating positive change and being a role model for others in my community. I wanted to take on a leadership role where I could empower and inspire young people, especially in areas that matter to me, like food, health, and community engagement. Becoming a Young Leader offers an opportunity to develop my skills, such as communication, decision-making, and collaboration while having a direct impact on the experiences of others. I believe that by being part of the team, I can make a meaningful difference, not only for myself but for the young people around me. I also wanted to be part of a group where youth voices are heard and respected, helping to shape decisions that affect our lives.

David Young Leader
Hi my name is David Kennedy and I'm originally from North London. I currently work in finance and studied Politics & Economics at University. In my spare time I love to travel, love movies, and am passionate about sports (Football, F1 & Boxing.) I decided to get involved with Eat Club because I'm passionate about helping young people connect with healthy foods. As someone that experienced food insecurity growing up, I want to help ensure that less young people have to experience the same. So joining the Young Leaders Programme is my way of giving back!

Zaid Young Leader
I was interested in becoming a Young Leader because I am highly interested in food systems and how intersection between class and race affect the outcomes of what ends up on our plates. I wanted to partake as Young Leader as the Eat Club aims/attempts to mend a gap in the food system. I also have a passion for cooking and baking.

Anthony Young Leader
My name is Anthony, I'm a born and bred Tottenham resident who has a deep interest in holistic community development and organic "farm to fork" eating. I've joined Eat Club as it's aligned with my interests to tackle the inequalities of the UK through the core issues; healthy eating with an accompanying positive environment. The negative impact of having a lack of autonomy in our eating culture is something I identify strongly with, in my neurodivergent lived experience. I'm currently entering into the IT sector, developing a tech career, and am hoping to bring that enthusiasm for networking and connectivity to my role.
