The Cook Social Supper Club

Social cooking in London

Our Cook Social Supper Club offers a unique experience that combines a supper club with a cooking class in London. Led by our chefs, these events are a fantastic way to:

The Forgotten Feast – South Asian Supper Club in Dalston, East London

Our next event is on Sunday, 10 August! Come join us on a delicious journey to rediscover lost South Asian dishes, flavours tucked away by time, borders, and language.

Roll up your sleeves and get cooking as we dive into the stories behind these hidden gems. While some of these dishes are everyday favourites back home, they’re not so common here in the UK, and we think it’s time they got the spotlight they deserve! We’ve curated a menu that brings these forgotten flavours back to life, all while keeping your plate balanced and your taste buds happy.

You don’t need any prior cooking experience, the professional chef will guide you through the recipe for each dish. Come along alone or with a friend or two. Everyone is welcome and you’ll have the chance to meet peers who are also passionate about food. You’ll also get the chance to meet fellow food lovers, chat about why some cultural dishes are disappearing, and support an amazing London youth food charity, all in one tasty evening. Expect good vibes, fun games and to end your time with us on a high!

What makes Cook Social different?

Unlike typical London cooking classes or supper clubs, we offer a hands-on approach taught by professionals from London’s kitchens. You’ll learn professional cooking techniques and tricks of the trade alongside enjoying nibbles and drinks. Then, we’ll all relax and savour the delicious meal we’ve created together.

Whether you’re looking to expand your social circle or sharpen your knife skills in a fun and welcoming environment, our doors are open.

Want to host a cook social for your team or friends?

We also offer unique group cooking experiences, perfect for team buildings or special celebrations. Bring your group, and one of our professional chefs will guide you through culinary techniques, culminating in a delicious shared meal. Super fun and well organised Interesting group of people to cook with – I went on my own and felt totally relaxed with the friendly hosts and other guests. Informative and you get to cook everything from scratch which is important to me. Would go again.

Got tickets for this as a present for my husband and we both had such a great night, the food was delicious, run by a lovely team and the evening had a really nice atmosphere! Will definitely be looking out for more of these in future!
